The LIST: Where are you from?
Heritage: A: We are based out of Destin FL, but the band is from all over the U.S.. Damien (ukulele) - Oahu Hawaii, Hunter(guitar) - Cocoa beach FL, RJ(drums) - El Paso TX, Dave(percussion) - Destin FL, Matt(Bass) - Niceville FL, Tony(Vocals) - Huntington Beach CA.
The LIST: Who are some of your influences?
Heritage: A: In addition to our spirituality, our influences range from our Parents to Bob Marley to Santana, P.O.D, 311, incubus and the list goes on. Some of us listen to Reggae others alternative rock, some hip hop others Indy rock. We all bring our own significant piece to the whole because we have such wide variety of influences with such diverse back grounds.
The LIST: What have you been up to recently?
Heritage: A: We are currently on an eighteen day tour from up in Greenville NC, down to South FL. We just did the morning show on channel 13 in Panama City beach, FL. There are numerous radio stations from NC down to Panama City beach playing our music everyday. We work with the E Club in Emerald Isle and throw an annual Heritage Festival.We also just aired on WSRE's Studio Amped serious, which airs in over 2 million households over the next 3 months. We were voted best band on the emerald coast by Emerald Coast magazine and Bay Life Magazine. We also won best alternative band by Beachcomber magazine.
The LIST: What makes you different?
Heritage: A; We are all into different genres music. We don't all like the same style of music, but we come together with our different styles and backgrounds to try to build a new Heritage(pun intended) :) and a new style.
The LIST: What do you bring to the industry?
Heritage: A refreshing new sound, with positivity towards humanity as a foundation.
The LIST: Whats next for Heritage?
Heritage: We're in the process of recording our new album... that's a big thing for us.

ReplyDeleteLove love love this band!!!! I am fortunate to be able to see them play and their shows are even better than their CD! They are touring around the East Coast and FL is their home but look for them to break out out and hit the beautiful West Coast sometime as well! Amazing show, incredible fans, fabulous music!
